Highlighted Work

Anthony & Ali

We worked with Anthony & Ali to design Anthony’s custom evening wear for their rehearsal dinner and wedding day. The couple was looking for classic, black tie elegant for their wedding at Hotel Bel-Air and something fun yet timeless for the rehearsal dinner. We designed a french blue suit featuring a micro geometric jacquard weave with Dormeuil Amadeus cloth for the rehearsal dinner. Worn with a midnight navy shirt creating an elegant and strong contrast against the suiting cloth, for an effortless party look. Sometimes the obvious answer is the correct answer. For the wedding, a black tux was the only choice. We updated the look with a slightly more narrow peak lapel for a modern and fun feeling accentuating Anthony’s athletic physique, creating a natural playfulness of angles leading from center button up the peak lapels, to shoulder slopes, and up a strong jaw line. Classic and current all at the same time.

Rashim & Jaimie

The Groom In Tulum!

This was a particularly special relationship because it was our first time designing and styling the entire wedding weekend, including both the Indian and American ceremonies and parties. This required communicating directly directly with the bride and wedding planner so we could match the groom’s fabric choices with the bride’s gowns. An incredible light and elegant cream three piece wedding suit made with a wool/linen cloth for a waterfall Christian ceremony, an emerald green sherwani woven with actual jade stone for the jungle themed Hindu ceremony, both via Dormeuil, we had a lot of creating this vision together. Our favorite piece was the vest for the Sangeet. We found an incredible and intricate jaquard cloth from France and combined it with a formal cloth from Scabal woven to look almost glittery. Combining these two cloths and contrasting them, we created a unique and truly bespoke vest and outfit for Rashim. We were also fortunate to locate some very special and limited Balenciaga cloth which we turned into Rashim’s bomber for the after-party.

Jonathan & Farhat

There are so many ways to do black-tie and formal wear aside from the black tux and we love when clients trust our eye and experience. For this beautiful summer wedding in Manhattan we went for something different, something fun, because Jonathan and Farhat are young at heart and most definitely fun! We went with a casual cotton cloth woven an intricate geometric pattern from Scabal and accented it with black silk creating Jonathan’s summer black tie look. We also had the honor of being hired for day-of services assisting the groom.

Silvino & MaryAlexa

When I first met Silvino in his new home in Brooklyn, he invites me in and says “Hi, I’m Vino” and I just remember thinking, “damn that’s a cool name!” I knew from that point this man needed a unique wedding look. The goal was a formal suit. Black tie but not black tie…and for a man who’s name means wine…It had to be black and white but not just a black suit. It had to be edgy but still elegant. And it most definitely had to be rock ‘n roll. We went black and white plaid check with a medium sized repeat pattern for Vino’s height and build The trick with plaids is the size of the of the pattern itself and how often it repeats - too big and it swallows you, too small and you drown it out. This particular cloth from Dormeuil was just right and the perfect tone of black and white. We added the vest for a more formal feel but instead of using the same plaid cloth, we went with a houndstooth that exactly matched the houndstooth pattern found within the plaid cloth. The lining was pretty edge too…but that was all Vino’s choice.

Avi & Niki

Avi & Niki celebrated their love with a weekend full of fun on the beach in Los Cabos. Fun, laid back, elegant, sexy, energetic….For the rehearsal dinner we went with a light tan suit and classic white shirt, paired with a fresh pair of white sneakers. Perfect beach celebration attire. For the black tie wedding reception we recommended Avi go for a classic white dinner jacket with a shawl lapel. You can see how perfectly is works with the Niki’s attire and how elegant and sexy they both look together. A memorable evening for sure.
